Speaking of amazing, it is that time again! I am talking about RUBICON! Rubicon June was a fun filled evening of music, dancing and surprises from Jonathan McEuen singing an awesome acoustic version of Prince’s Kiss to the beautiful Kimberly Wang’s version of Sarah McLachlan’s Angel to watching Jodi cut the rug! There is no doubt in my mind that Rubicon July will be even better.

Bunnies and Earth Day and Festivals, oh my.....

Namaste fellow peacemakers,

April is an incredible month here in Arizona -

The weather is gorgeous - Easter is this weekend - Earth Day is this month - Festivals are popping up all over the place - I will be on TV.

I've had a lot of fun preparing for Easter this year. I've prepared awesome and inspiring Easter Music for Spiritual Enrichment Center in Peoria. I prepared and taught a fun Easter class for my sign language students. It's been great!

I wish for you, my friends, a joyous, inspiring, and blessed Easter and month of April. I hope you find this to be the most amazing month of your life!

Jessika Will Be on TV

It's true. I will be on TV again this year.

Arizona Midday Television show contacted me to talk about my Sing and Sign class.

The timing for this interview and demonstration is perfect because my classes will soon be in two locations: Bookman's Phoenix and Bookman's Mesa.

I am also currently writing a book about Baby Sign Language based on my years in childcare, as a Sign Language Interpreter, and ultimately as a Sign Language Teacher and professional vocalist.

2008 was a blessed Holiday Season. Under the Mistletoe allowed me to reconnect with so many people. It also allowed me to meet new people.

Part of the reason I created Under the Mistletoe was to bring about a hope and joy in the midst of the storm for some of my friends. For some, recent events have been the appearance of a time of loss and increased suffering; it seems transitions and shifts are never easy. This year, like any other and like no other, the opportunity exists to co-create a new life divine. With love at our center, there is always hope and the knowing that divine order is always unfolding perfectly!

Happy Birthday Jessika/Year 2 in Phoenix

Namaste fellow peacemakers,

Friday, August 1^stwas my birthday.

Yesterday I found myself feeling apprehensive. I thought, wow, I am 30-something and what have I done? I left my career as an interpreter to become a positive music artist. I left my home of many years to move out west, and I am another year older.

But then I had another thought.....I am 30-something, wow...how blessed am I. Everyday I get to look at the beautiful mountains surrounding Phoenix. I get to look at the beautiful sky and feel the hot sun. When I was a child, I only imagined that I might be able to see anything other than North Georgia.

My next thought was I am so thankful . How could I possibly thank everyone who has helped me come to this point? And If I could who would I thank?

...my parents? my sister? myself? my spiritual leaders? my friends? my mentors? everyone who has helped me? everyone who has taught me? The list would be endless....

Then, I thought...thank God I am 30-something. Thank God I have so many more years to live and thank God that I have all of you in my life. You are a blessing to me every single day.

And, for my birthday I only wish for prayers for my health and strength, for divine creativity, for endless smiles and hugs, and that I be God in expression with my every breath, my every thought, and my every action.

Please join us for this amazing launch of Harmonizing with Humanity's House Concert Series! Folks from both coasts will be flying in for this magical event hosted at Jodi Floyd's gorgeous desert home. This will be an amazing night of inspiration, music and fun featuring Faith Rivera.

As you know I will be special guest, but you are in for a treat because we will also have Paul Hoffman (co-founder of Humanity Unites Brilliance /HUB & SuccessSongs Composer! He will be flying in from L.A. to share his incredible music & presence!

Positive Music Artist, Craig Haley (my buddy), has graciously offered to join us on a few tunes as well & we'll make sure to save a spot or two for an impromptu jam from any other visiting artists!

Just a note to say hello.....

June is always one of my favorite months. We have this awesome opportunity to tell our Dads thank you for being Dad!

As some of you know, I was raised by my Dad. He was a really wonderful man! He was always loving and patient with me. He listened when I sang to him - He tried whatever I cooked & SMILED (no matter how fascinating it really tasted)...but my favorite memory was when I was really little. He would lift me onto his feet and dance with me. He was truly my best friend. I could never ask for a better human being to come through to live this glorious life that I have.

Fathers, thank you for being you. Thank you for untold stories of kissed boo boos, countless baseball, basketball, and soccer games. Thank you for teaching, leading, loving, and being exactly who you are!
